connection (yfac)
free and open
to children between the ages of 6 and 14 and their families.
yfac fosters appreciation for and understanding of art by giving local
children and their families new and different ways to express themselves
through art in a “no-mistakes” environment that supports the
application of creative problem solving and risk taking beyond the visual
arts. free creative opportunities are provided at works on the second
saturday of the month.
june 9th
from noon to 2pm - zen tangles
creative doodling using simple drawing techniques to help build shading,
texture & design skills on paper.
july 14th
from noon to 2pm - musical chair still life
students will creative still life drawings using pastels & water colors.
each child will change perspective of drawing while playing musical chairs.
children are encouraged to bring their own music.
