works/san josé is located in the heart of the san josé’s south first street arts and entertainment (sofa) district and is short walk to the san josé museum of art, the tech, the children’s discovery museum, the convention center, major hotels, and the california theater. when visiting works, please take time to visit our sofa district neighbors the green rice gallery, anno domini, movimeiento de arte y cultura latino americana (macla), san josé museum of quilts and textiles, and the san josé institute of contemporary art (ica), and the california theater.
