As Works celebrates its 30th year, the membership is being called upon to help define the destiny of the organization. Over the past several months the Board of Directors has striven to restart the strong programming of Works after the high costs of relocation and repairs; and to meet the fiscal obligations inherent to running a downtown art center in the Bay Area’s largest city.
A crucial meeting has been called at which the Board will present recommendations for change and invite input from members. Works has overcome many obstacles in the past, but these new challenges cannot be met without a true community effort. Works needs you now. Bring your bright ideas and positive energy to this meeting and help craft the future of Works/San Jose.
Special Meeting of Membership
6:30pm, Friday, September 21, 2007
Works/San Jose, 451 South 1st Street
Light refreshments will be available.
