and expand the established opinions of art and art making, while supporting
activities that foster communication between artists, curators and the public
that strengthen cross-cultural understanding, validate identity, and enhance the
quality of life in san josé.

of being a friend and support works/san josé’s first public
art commission. each year works invites two local artists to produce a
collaborative artwork as a special thank you to our patron level supporters.
we are honored this year to have joe miller and ema harris-sintamarian
collaborating on a mural for the market street façade of works/san
josé. joe is celebrating his twentieth year as works resident designer
and ema became an active “worksie” after participating in
our artist in residence program and later went on to exhibit in our p2
installation space. all patron level supporters will be identified on
the mural wall and receive a souvenir image signed by the artists.

plus an invitation to a special "coffee with the artist-in-residence"
event.

above and receive all the benefits of being a true friend and be featured
