| calling
into the void
In "Calling
Into the Void," six artists living in the United States and the United
Kingdom and originating from Middle Eastern and Islamic cultures were
selected to reconstruct a fractured world, creating sacred spaces for
new experiences. The artists selected employ installation and performance
art, video, photography, and textile work, drawing from their aesthetic
origins to fill the void that is created through separation. Funded by an
Applied Materials Excellence in the Arts grant; a program of Arts Council
Silicon Valley.
